The breezy Hills By Sahla Navaz
The breezy Hills
As I walked to the hills
Near where there were wind mills
We sped up as a dog chased us
When we saw a broken down bus
Boring, I thought
Thank goodness I brought my coat
I shouldn’t have come here
Anyway it was near
As we reached the hills
And that too the breezy hills
I felt like an ice
My mom brought some apple pies
We sat down in the grass
On the icy cold grass
Dad brought the firewood
And I wore my chain made out of
sandal wood
As the fire burned
I turned
Mary ran to me
And meowed and purred near me
Now I could see the stars
Tiny twinkling silver stars
Suddenly everything started
changing
Walls surrounded me
I felt cozy and warm
Looking very charm
I looked everywhere
To see everybody sleeping peacefully
But I never ever will forget
My lovely day on breezy hills

The Castle of Spirits-Chapter – III
Chapter – III
We entered the old castle. A living hall with a broken chandelier, half smeared with dry blood. We walked up a curved staircase. We saw two beds, and a photo of two girls, which is not clearly seen and broken. Two boxes of bangles, pearls, clips and all sorts of fancies. Two cupboards filled with old beautiful gowns. And on a board which hung in the ceiling said ‘Jenny and Greese’. Similar to our names. Someone tapped on my back. It was Linny. “We don’t know the way back. The mouth of the forest is guarded by the spirit. Let’s clean the castle and live here. There are no demons here. This place was just an old village. Look through the window” Linny told me. I looked. It was a bright day. Suddenly I became so happy. People ! Villagers ! at last we are saved. Linny took two brooms and gave me one. We cleaned the bed rooms first, then the leaving room and slowly the whole castle. (I meant very big house). We swept the floor, cleaned the blood from the chandelier and using my craft talent, turned the half chandelier into a small one. We did everything to make the castle look beautiful. And finally I did look beautiful. We wore night dresses, which was in the castle. We earned our living by selling fruits. We lived happily for two weeks. One day I was in bed, looking a portrait hung in the room. It’s nose seemed to move. I went and pressed the nose. The picture slid down and broke into tiny pieces. I saw a hole. Linny came after me. “Cool”, she said slowly. Steps formed in and out of the hole. We entered the hole.

Chapter – II
The cage was getting smaller. We jumped and jumped, hopping to get out from the top. But the cage grew taller and closer, ready to crush us. An idea came to my mind. I started climbing up the cage’s side. “Linny, do what I do.” I asked her. She repeated me. The spirit shouted, “No; no, no, no. You are my preys. You should not get away. Do you remember sommy, who bullied you every time? I was in his soul. You too are brave, strong and clever young girls. I want your life so that I can take over the world. You both should die. You should be killed by me.” “Oh, yes.” Linny shouted in reply. We soon got out. The leaves cage crushed and fell down into tiny bits. The spirit melted down into a white leaf and many red leaves. We ran and ran, trying to reach an old castle which we saw. Now what’s going to happen??The Castle of Spirits- Chapter – I

Roses of the paradise
Rosy petals everywhere
around the garden of mine
glinting in the sunlight
roses of the paradise!
Making us look pretty
even for little betty
protecting themselves
with thorny thorns on stems
How brave they are
roses of the paradise!
around the garden of mine
glinting in the sunlight
roses of the paradise!
Making us look pretty
even for little betty
protecting themselves
with thorny thorns on stems
How brave they are
roses of the paradise!
